I build software.
And bring people together.

Second-year CSE student, hackathon teammate,
and competitive badminton player.

From collaborative applications to student communities, I like turning a useful idea into something people can use.

Students for Students / 2023–2025

150+ students & tutors
Less admin. More learning.

Approximately 90% less time spent pairing students and tutors.

02 — Students for Students Co-founder & developer

Students for StudentsFinding the right tutor.

Co-founded a student tutoring initiative and built a matching tool to take the manual work out of pairing students with tutors.

  • Google Sheets
  • Automation
What I built

The tool uses Google Sheets data to automate matching, maintain matched and unmatched lists, and support bulk communication. Alongside development, I helped expand the programme to additional GEMS schools across Dubai.

Student deal discovery Hackathon winner · 2026

A community-driven deal-discovery platform for students in the Netherlands. Built in a team of three and awarded first place at the 20h University Entrepreneurship Hackathon at Unknown University of Applied Sciences, The Hague.

Sorting algorithms at scale Research · Java / SQL

For my IB extended essay, I implemented Quicksort, Mergesort, Heapsort, and Timsort in Java and benchmarked them on SQL datasets of up to one million records. My 4,000-word analysis compared runtime, CPU, and memory usage; Mergesort performed most consistently in the study.

02 / About

A Delft student.
A wider perspective.

Germany UAE Netherlands

I’m Rohan, a second-year Computer Science & Engineering student at TU Delft. I enjoy the engineering behind good software—and the teamwork that makes it happen.

My studies and work have taken me through Germany, Dubai, and now Delft. I’ve developed software during an internship, co-founded a tutoring initiative, and pitched ideas in hackathon finals.

At TU Delft, I’m a first-year CSE mentor and a board member at Lijst Bèta, where I lead company outreach and sponsorship acquisition. The common thread: building something useful with other people.

There’s more to the story.

On the court

Competitive badminton

Competing in UAE national tournaments has been a big part of my life. Ranked #16 in UAE U19 boys’ singles in January 2025.

Around the table

Building a team.

I led a six-person team to the HULT Future Leaders Challenge semifinals in both 2023 and 2024, developing business concepts for Unilever and Dolce & Gabbana.

In 2024, we were the sole MENA team to reach that stage among 2,500+ participants from 45+ countries.

In the community

Making room for others.

From helping first-year students settle into Delft to leading a beach cleanup with 40+ volunteers as part of the National Honor Society.

I’ve also taken part in NRW Juniorakademie and received Best Delegate and Honourable Mention awards at Model United Nations.
